1. Description of DREAD AI

DREAD AI ("DREAD AI", "the Service", "we", "us") is an AI platform focused on technical and cybersecurity work. The Service provides a chat interface backed by third-party large language models, conversation history, account management, usage limits and paid subscription plans.

Depending on the model and configuration selected, the Service may produce advanced technical content, including material relating to security research. Features, models and limits may change over time.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction and are at least the age required by your local law to consent to online services. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or sanctions.

3. Account Registration and Security

Creating an account requires an email address, a username and a password. Authentication is handled by a managed authentication provider; the application does not store your password.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. Provide accurate registration information, keep it current, and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Accounts are personal; do not share, sell or transfer access.

4. Authorized Cybersecurity Use

The Service is intended for lawful technical work, including defensive security, education, training exercises, capture-the-flag competitions, research and testing that you are explicitly authorized to perform.

You may direct the Service toward security activity only against systems, networks, accounts, data and applications that you own or for which you hold documented, current and sufficient authorization from the rightful owner. You are solely responsible for obtaining and retaining evidence of that authorization.

5. Malware, Exploit and Security Research Capabilities

Depending on the model and configuration, the Service may provide technical information or assistance relating to subjects such as:

  • Cybersecurity concepts and tooling
  • Vulnerability research
  • Penetration testing methodology
  • Malware analysis and reverse engineering
  • Exploit development research
  • Defensive security and detection engineering
  • Security-testing code and proof-of-concept code
  • Other potentially harmful or sensitive technical content

6. No Authorization Through the Terms

The availability of these capabilities does not grant you permission to attack, access, compromise, disrupt, scan, exploit or otherwise interfere with any system, network, account or data belonging to another party.

Nothing in these Terms, in the Service, or in any output constitutes authorization, a licence, or a legal defence for any cybersecurity activity. Authorization can only come from the lawful owner of the target and, where applicable, from the relevant legal authority.

7. User Inputs

"User Inputs" means prompts, files, code, text and other content you submit. You are responsible for the legality of your inputs and for holding the necessary ownership, rights or authorization to submit them.

Do not submit passwords, private keys, authentication tokens, payment-card information or highly sensitive personal information unless the applicable feature specifically requires it and appropriate protections are provided.

8. AI Outputs

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, insecure, misleading, technically incorrect or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Output may also be similar or identical to output generated for other users.

You must independently review, test and validate any output before relying on it, and especially before executing generated code or acting on security-related guidance.

9. No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, medical or other professional advice, and no professional relationship is created by using it. Consult qualified professionals for decisions in those areas.

10. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for the consequences of that use, including compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, contractual obligations and organizational policies. We do not verify your authorization, your intent or the legality of your activity.

11. Security Testing and Isolation

Where output includes potentially dangerous code or techniques, you are responsible for:

  • Validating and reviewing generated code before use
  • Executing dangerous code only in isolated, controlled environments
  • Preventing accidental deployment to production or third-party systems
  • Obtaining authorization before any testing that touches systems you do not own
  • Complying with applicable law and organizational policy
  • Securing, monitoring and cleaning up your test environments

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to plan, assist with, perform or facilitate:

  • Unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks or data
  • Unauthorized penetration testing or vulnerability scanning
  • Ransomware or other extortion-based attacks
  • Credential theft, phishing or fraudulent social engineering
  • Unauthorized malware development or deployment
  • Botnets, unauthorized command-and-control infrastructure, or unauthorized persistence
  • Unauthorized denial-of-service or destructive attacks
  • Data theft, exfiltration or bypassing access controls without authorization
  • Identity theft, financial fraud or unlawful surveillance
  • Harassment, threats, stalking or privacy violations
  • Infringement of intellectual-property rights
  • Attacks against DREAD AI infrastructure, or abuse of authentication, rate limits, token limits, billing systems or other controls
  • Any other activity that is unlawful in a jurisdiction that applies to you

13. Intellectual Property

DREAD AI and its licensors own the Service software, interface, branding, documentation and proprietary technology. No rights are granted except the limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of User Inputs to the extent you legally own them, and you grant us the limited right to process them to operate and support the Service.

Ownership and permitted use of AI output may depend on applicable law, the terms of the underlying model provider, your subscription and the Service configuration. We make no representation that output is free of third-party rights.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, decompile or otherwise exploit the Service or its proprietary technology except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

14. Third-Party AI Models and Services

The Service relies on third parties, which may include AI model providers and routing services, hosting and infrastructure providers, an authentication and database provider, and a payment processor.

Those services operate under their own terms and policies, which may apply to your use. Their availability, pricing, model behaviour or policy changes may affect the Service, and we may change providers or models at any time.

15. Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue features, models or the Service itself, with or without notice, including for maintenance, security or provider-driven reasons.

16. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscription plans are offered on monthly and yearly billing periods, with prices displayed in Indian Rupees on the pricing page. Prices, plan contents and included allowances may change; changes apply from your next billing period.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full payment-card details. Amounts shown may exclude taxes, which are charged where required by law and may be collected by the processor.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. You may cancel from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the current paid period. Access to paid versions and allowances ends when the subscription expires or is cancelled at period end.

All payments are final and non-refundable. DREAD AI does not offer refunds for subscription fees, partial billing periods or unused allowances, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate paid access and associated entitlements.

17. Token and Usage Limits

The Service applies usage limits, which currently include a token allowance associated with your account and rate limiting on requests. Limits may also be applied to requests, model usage, message length, concurrency, storage or compute resources, and may be adjusted to protect the Service.

Tokens and other allowances are a technical usage measure only. They have no monetary value, are not currency, are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash or credit. Unused allowances may expire when a subscription period ends.

18. Prohibited Account Activity

You may not share, resell or transfer account access; create accounts by automated means or to evade suspension, limits or billing; interfere with authentication, rate limiting, token accounting or billing controls; scrape or bulk-extract the Service; or attempt to access administrative functionality or other users' data.

19. Monitoring and Abuse Prevention

We may apply automated and manual measures to protect the Service, including rate limiting, usage accounting, logging of privileged administrative actions, and investigation of suspected abuse or security incidents. These measures operate consistently with the Privacy Policy.

20. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or access, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, created legal or security risk, or abused the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

Termination ends your right to use the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnification, survive termination.

21. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, security, non-infringement and uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that output is correct, safe or lawful for your purpose.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DREAD AI and its operators, contributors and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, systems or business, arising out of or relating to the Service or its output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

23. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless DREAD AI and its operators and suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from your use of the Service, your User Inputs, your use of output, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

24. Privacy

Our handling of account information, conversation data and AI processing is described in the DREAD AI Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us. Please read it before using the Service.

26. Security Vulnerability Reporting

If you discover a vulnerability in the Service, report it privately with enough detail to reproduce it, and give us a reasonable opportunity to remediate before any disclosure.

Testing must be limited to your own account, must avoid accessing other users' data, and must not degrade or disrupt the Service. These Terms do not create a bug-bounty programme and do not authorize testing beyond the limits stated here.

27. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

28. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain in full force.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific terms presented at purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and DREAD AI regarding the Service and supersede prior understandings. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

This document is provided for transparency about how DREAD AI operates. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being relied upon, and it may be updated as the Service evolves. It is not legal advice.
